GFL Environmental is the contracted service provider for garbage/recycling pickup. Please have your containers ready for collection by 6:00 a.m. Call GFL directly with broken cart/bin issues.

The dividing line between East side and West side service pickup is Jackson St.

West side address residents: your pickup days are always on Mondays, whether it is garbage and/or recycle pickup. 

East side address residents: your pickup days are always on Tuesdays, whether it is garbage and/or recycle pickup.

🗓ī¸ 2026 Recycle Calendar

If you are interested in a 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 magnet recycle calendar to have one mailed to you, contact Town. This magnet calendar will be available for self-pickup during Town Board meetings or on Election Day at the town hall.

Soda, Water & Other Drink bottles

Food & Household Bottles, Jars & Jugs

Dairy Containers & Lids

Produce, Bakery & Deli Containers

Do Not Accept:

No Plastic Bags, Wrap or Film

No Motor Oil Bottles

No Styrofoam or packaging plastics

No Chemical Containers

Guidelines:

Remove and discard lids & caps

Rinse bottles & jugs

Aluminum & Steel

Accept:

Aluminum, Tin, Steel, Cans, Bottles, and Food Containers

Aluminum and foil baking pans

Empty Aerosol Cans

Do Not Accept:

No Empty Paint Cans

No Scrap Metal

No Electronic Waste (TVs, Computers, Monitors)

Guidelines:

Rinse cans & bottles

Items must be clean of food

No need to remove labels

Glass

Accept:

Food & Beverage Bottles and jars

Do Not Accept:

No Windows, Mirrors, Ceramics or China

Guidelines:

Rinse bottles and jars

Remove caps and lids

Metal caps and lids should be recycled

Discard plastic caps and lids

PAPER-CARDBOARD - Place in the Recycle Bin along with the co-mingle

Milk, Juice & Soup Cartons

Cardboard & Paperboard (cereal box)

Newspaper & Inserts

Junk Mail, Office Paper, Manila Folders, Labels

Envelopes, calendars, brown paper bags

Phone Books, Books, Magazines & Catalogs

👎đŸģ No Not Accept:

No Tissue Paper

No Paper Contaminated by Food or Grease

No Shredded Paper

Residents may take shredded paper or any other small paper scraps to United Recycle Solutions (Oshkosh Paper Salvage) at 1860 Harrison St. in Oshkosh. There is no charge.

ℹī¸ Guidelines:

Boxes/cardboard should be flatten

Must be food free and clean

You may put paper products inside another paper grocery bag placed in the bin
