ELECTION DAY is Tuesday, August 11, 2026, for the Fall Partisan Primary Election.
Polling Place: Town Hall, 230 E. County Rd. Y, Oshkosh, WI 54901
Polling Place Hours Election Day: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
There is (1) one ballot style for this election in the Town of Oshkosh. A ballot sample to view is near the bottom of this page.
Because this is a Partisan Primary Election, you may only vote for candidates in one political party. This has been the case since the early 1900s. Therefore, when you vote choose one political party in which you will vote, and vote for individual candidates with that party. Voting in more than one political party may void your voting choices.

Absentee Voting
Only registered voters may request an absentee ballot.
Absentee requests accepted by mail, email, or online are mailed the same or next business day.
- Apply Online, – Visit the My Vote Wisconsin website: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/. Click on Vote Absentee. An upload of Acceptable Photo ID may be required. The deadline is August 6th, with some exceptions.
- Apply by Mail or Email, – print application, and include a copy of Acceptable Photo ID that may be required if it is not on file. Must be received by August 6th, with some exceptions.
Mail to: Town of Oshkosh, 1076 Cozy Ln, Oshkosh WI 54901 or email [email protected] - In-Person Absentee Voting first day is Tuesday, July 28, 2026 and ends Friday, August 7, 2026. Contact the clerk to schedule an appointment. Appointments are available every day between 7am-7 pm. Call for an appointment 920-235-7771 (landline) or email [email protected].
Other exceptions include if you are on active military duty away from your voting residence, hospitalized, or a sequestered juror. Contact the clerk for further information on how to vote in these situations.

Voter Registration
- Register to Vote In-Person with Clerk, by appointment, call 920-235-7771 or [email protected]. Last day is Friday, August 7, 2026 before the August 11, 2026 election.
- Register to Vote at the Polling Place on Election Day August 11, 2026, 7am to 8pm. The polling place (Town Hall) address is: 230 E. County Rd. Y, Oshkosh, WI 54901. Bring proof of residency.
A name change or address change:
Voter registration must be updated by re-registering and requires Proof of Residency.

Curbside Voting at the Polling Place on Election Day
If you are ill or have a fever on Election Day, please do not enter the building, and instead, request curbside voting. Or, if you have a physical condition that makes it difficult for you to enter the building, you may use curbside voting. Once you arrive at the polling place, call the town hall building phone at (920) 231-5887 for further instructions to curbside vote. The phone number will also be posted on the main front door.
